Dear Beloved Congregation,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we continue to grow in faith and fellowship, I want to take a moment to reflect on the powerful message of unity found in Acts 2:1-21.
In this passage, we witness a moment that changed the course of history—the day of Pentecost. The disciples were gathered together in one place, united in prayer and purpose. It was in that sacred unity that the Holy Spirit descended upon them like a mighty rushing wind, filling them with divine power and enabling them to proclaim the gospel to people of every nation.
This extraordinary event reminds us that unity is not just a good idea—it is the very foundation of the church. When we stand together in faith, embracing one another in love and purpose, the Spirit moves powerfully among us. The early church grew because they were devoted to one another, sharing all they had, praying, worshiping, and proclaiming the gospel as one body. Their unity was a testimony to God’s love and power.
Today, we are called to that same unity. In a world often divided by differences, let us be a church that reflects the heart of Christ—a church that welcomes, loves, and supports one another. Unity does not mean uniformity; rather, it is the beautiful harmony of diverse people coming together for a greater purpose.
Let us continue to seek God with one heart, worship with one voice, and serve with one mission. As we do, may we experience the same outpouring of the Holy Spirit that empowered the early believers, strengthening us to be bold witnesses of Christ in our community and beyond.
May the Spirit of God continue to unite us in faith, love, and purpose.
In Christ’s love,
Pastor Ben
