“But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint.” — (Isaiah 40:31)
Life’s trials can wear us down, leaving us weary and uncertain. But Isaiah 40:31 offers a promise—renewal comes not from our own efforts but through waiting on the Lord. Trusting in Him lifts us above the storms, giving us the endurance to keep moving forward.
Waiting isn’t passive; it’s an act of faith. As James 1 reminds us, perseverance through trials strengthens us, shaping our character and deepening our trust in God. Whether we soar in inspiration, run in service, or walk through difficulty, His strength sustains us.
If you’re weary today, know this—God sees you, and He is ready to renew your spirit. May you find strength in waiting, endurance in trials, and hope in His unfailing presence.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Ben
